  • Reader Data: We store the sources, feed selections, bookmarks, and settings you choose so your reader can work across signed-in devices.
  • Activation Data: We store a one-way digest of a random app installation identifier, app version, first authenticated use, activation state, and aggregate daily meaningful-action counts. We do not include article URLs, feed URLs, email addresses, tokens, or raw search text in this activation telemetry. Idempotency receipts expire after seven days and daily aggregates after 90 days.
  • Product Email Data: If you opt in, we store your consent source and time plus bounded delivery, click, suppression, unsubscribe, bounce, and complaint status for the three-message mobile tips series.
  • Feedback: Feedback text and an optional reply address are sent to our support mailbox. The application database stores only the submission time, platform, optional app version, and whether the sender was signed in—not the feedback message or reply address.
  • Technical Information: We may collect browser type, IP address, diagnostics, and usage data to secure and improve the service.

How We Use Your Information

Delete Your Data

We respect your privacy, and if you wish to delete your NewsFeedReader account and associated app data, you can start from the mobile app or website. For standalone account deletion instructions shown in app store listings, visit newsfeedreader.com/delete_account.

  1. In the mobile app, open Settings and choose Delete account, or visit Delete account on newsfeedreader.com.
  2. If you can sign in, open Account settings for the NewsFeedReader account you want to delete.
  3. Log in with the NewsFeedReader account you want to delete if prompted.
  4. Use the Cancel my account option on the account settings page.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the deletion. You may be asked to provide additional confirmation, such as entering your password.
  6. If you cannot access your account, email administrator@newsfeedreader.com from the email address on the account and request account deletion.
  7. Once confirmed, your account profile, feeds, bookmarks, mobile authentication tokens, and associated app account data will be deleted from our active systems unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Please note:

  • Deleting your account is irreversible, and account data associated with your NewsFeedReader profile will be permanently removed from active systems.
  • Make sure to download any data you want to keep before initiating the deletion process.
  • Deletion requests submitted by email may take some time to verify and process, and you may no longer have access to your account during this period.
