What is NewsFeedReader?
NewsFeedReader is a free RSS and news reader that combines curated sources and custom RSS, XML, Atom, or JSON feeds into one searchable web and mobile reading experience.
What are feeds?
Feeds are public links that publish article data in formats such as RSS, XML, Atom, and JSON. NewsFeedReader reads those feeds and turns them into a combined news dashboard.
Can I add my own RSS, XML, Atom, or JSON feeds?
Yes. Signed-in readers can add custom feed URLs, place them in categories, and read them beside curated NewsFeedReader sources.
Do I need an account?
You can try the public demo without an account. Create a free account when you want to save your own source list, custom feeds, bookmarks, and feed settings.
How do I get started?
Registration is free. Create an account, try the public demo, or sign in with your existing account.
How does search work?
The reader includes search for articles already loaded on the page. Signed-in users can also run intentional all-news searches across cached articles from subscribed feeds when cached content is available.
Can I save or share articles?
Yes. Signed-in readers can bookmark articles for later and use sharing controls to copy or send article links through their preferred apps.
How can I group similar feeds?
Curated sources are grouped by category, and custom feeds can be assigned to your own categories so you can build views around the way you read.
Can I export or reuse my combined feeds?
Yes. NewsFeedReader supports combined RSS output so selected feeds can be reused in compatible readers and workflows.
What does the public demo include?
The public demo shows the reader experience with preview sources so you can evaluate browsing, source switching, and article search before creating an account.
Is NewsFeedReader free?
Yes. NewsFeedReader is free to use. Add the feeds you need and build the reader that fits your habits.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. NewsFeedReader is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store and for Android on Google Play.
